The Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering (MME), in the College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS) at the University of Cincinnati (UC) invites you to apply for the position of Term-Adjunct.

MME is looking for qualified professionals and educators to be included in the general pool of candidates for Term Adjunct Assistant Professor positions as needed. Courses are taught at all levels from undergraduate to graduate (master''s and doctoral).

• On a part-time basis, conduct and teach assigned undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses and seminars.
• May serve as an academic adviser for students and evaluate student coursework.
• Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of his or her responsibilities.
• Review, and where necessary, respond in a timely manner to all University-related communications.

• Master''s degree in Engineering or a closely related field is required for undergraduate class instruction.
• Graduate instruction requires a degree advanced beyond the level of the course.
• Successful candidates will be highly qualified individuals who have content expertise in their disciplines with appropriate degrees and training relative to the courses to be taught.

Pay Rate Information:

As a part-time employee, UC provides a limited tuition remission benefit based on role. Tuition remission covers tuition costs for nearly all undergraduate and graduate programs offered by the university.
