Job Description:
Job Summary Responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating educational curriculum and materials for electronic health record (EHR) training programs. Collaborates with subject matter experts and instructors to design workflows, training guides, and learning dashboards that align with clinical and operational standards. Ensures materials are accurate, engaging, and compliant with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Essential Functions- Designs and updates EHR training curriculum, including manuals, job aids, and e-learning modules.
- Partners with clinical and operational stakeholders to ensure curriculum reflects evidence-based workflows and organizational policies.
- Collaborates with instructors to align training delivery with designed curriculum.
- Maintains and updates content in learning dashboards and archives outdated materials.
- Reviews survey results, user feedback, and efficiency data (e.g., Epic Signal, NEAT) to refine curriculum.
- Applies adult learning and instructional design principles to training materials.
- Ensures curriculum complies with Joint Commission and regulatory training requirements.
- Develops communication plans for curriculum changes tied to system updates or new functionality.
- Tracks curriculum versions and ensures training materials are current and consistent across platforms.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Requirement:
Bachelor's degree
Experience Requirement: 2+ years of experience
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
