Student Activities Coordinator

• Develop and implement activities, programs, and services supporting student and institutional growth
• Create meaningful learning opportunities
• Foster student engagement through collaboration with peers, faculty, staff, and community partners
• Advise the student advisory council
• Assist faculty and staff advisors with developing and organizing co-curricular and extracurricular student organizations and honor societies
• Provide guidance on activities sponsored by student organizations
• Monitor budgets for student activities and the student advisory council
• Lead development in student activities, engagement, leadership, and service
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in educational leadership, vocational administration, counseling, or a closely related field
• Two years’ experience in a secondary, postsecondary, or higher education environment
• Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis
• Preferred: five years’ experience in a secondary, postsecondary, or higher education environment
• Preferred: experience with student organizations, student government, student ambassadors, and event planning
• Preferred: experience managing complex budgets
  
  Preferred: knowledge of TCSG system initiatives and recruitment
• Cover letter, resume/vita, three professional references, and unofficial transcripts required for application

• Successful completion of appropriate background checks required

Demonstrates expertise in developing and implementing student engagement programs, advising student organizations, and managing budgets within educational environments. Possesses strong leadership and collaboration skills to foster meaningful learning opportunities and institutional growth.
