This assignment is to cover a 12-week leave of absence starting at the end of November. You'll play an integral part in fostering the academic, social, and emotional growth of students, while consulting with teachers and administrators to ensure optimal learning environments.

Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification or license.
• Previous experience working in a K-12 school environment.
• Strong understanding of special education processes and multi-tiered systems of supports (MTSS).
• Proficiency with assessment tools and IEP processes.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and consultative skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psycho educational assessments for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns.
• Develop and assist in the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide recommendations to support student success.
• Offer crisis intervention and counseling support as needed.
• Serve as a resource for teachers and families, providing strategies for academic and behavioral interventions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and legal guidelines.
