JOB

SUMMARY

You'll own the vendor co-op marketing program at  end to end: negotiating the dollars, deciding where they go, planning and running the campaigns they fund, and proving to both Galls and the vendor that the spend worked. It's part deal-maker, part campaign planner, part analyst. If you like the idea of running a $2M budget where you have to earn every dollar of it from a partner first, keep reading.

WHAT

YOU'LL DO Negotiate the money
  • Own the marketing relationship with our key vendors - [5.11, Under Armour, Streamlight, Blauer, Safariland, etc].
  • Build and pitch annual and quarterly co-op proposals: what  will run, what it costs, what the vendor gets for it.
  • Negotiate funding levels, placement fees, MDF, product seeding, and promo support. Push for more than the standard accrual and know when to walk away from a bad deal.
  • Track every commitment, claim, and reimbursement so nothing is left on the table at year end.
Plan and run the campaigns
  • Build the annual vendor marketing calendar across email, paid search, paid social, on-site placements, content, catalog, and events - and keep it from colliding with 's own promotional calendar.
  • Package our channels into clear, sellable offerings (a launch package, a featured-brand month, a clearance push) with real pricing and real audience numbers behind them.
  • Brief creative and lifecycle teams, own the timelines, and make sure vendor assets, legal approvals, and brand guidelines are locked before anything goes live.
  • Coordinate with merchandising so what we promote is in stock, priced right, and margin-positive.
Prove it worked
  • Define what success looks like for each vendor program before it launches - sell-through, traffic, new-to-brand customers, revenue per co-op dollar.
  • Build the recap reporting vendors see. Make it honest and make it good enough that they want to fund the next one.
  • Report program-level performance internally: which vendors deserve more investment, which placements over- or under-deliver, where we should reprice.
Run the program like a business
  • Manage the full $2M budget: forecasting, accruals, claims, and reconciliation with finance.
  • Own vendor invoicing and payment management end to end: issue invoices for co-op deliverables on time, submit claims with the proof-of-performance vendors require, chase past-due balances, and resolve disputes before they become write-offs.
  • Track receivables against every commitment so the co-op dollars we negotiate actually land in the bank - and report collection status to finance and leadership monthly.
  • Keep a single source of truth for every vendor agreement, deliverable, and outstanding dollar.
  • Find the next dollar. Identify vendors who should be funding co-op on  and aren't, and build the case to bring them in.
WHAT YOU BRING Must have
  • 5+ years in digital marketing, with hands-on experience across several of: email/CRM, paid search, paid social, on-site merchandising, content.
  • Direct experience negotiating marketing dollars with partners - co-op, MDF, vendor funding, sponsor ships, or comparable. You've sat across the table and asked for more.
  • Experience running multi-channel campaigns from brief to recap, with real ownership of timelines and cross-functional handoffs.
  • Comfortable with numbers: you can build a program P&L in a spreadsheet, read a GA4 or ad platform report without help, and explain to a vendor why the campaign did what it did.
  • Experience managing invoicing, claims, and collections for partner-funded programs - you know what proof-of-performance means and you don't let receivables age.
  • Organized enough to manage 30+ vendor relationships at once without letting the smaller ones slip.
  • Direct communicator. You'll be telling vendors "no" and telling internal teams "that's not ready" on a regular basis.
Strong plus
  • E-commerce or retail background, especially multi-brand catalogs.
  • Vendor-side experience - you've been the one pitched for co-op dollars and know every angle.
  • Familiarity with the first responder, tactical, uniform, or military market.
  • Experience with Big Commerce, Klaviyo or a comparable ESP, Google Ads, Meta Ads, and a project management tool you actually use.
  • You've worked on a lean team where you were both the strategist and the person executing.
How we work

The  marketing team is small and senior, and we use AI tooling aggressively so one person can do the work that used to take three. You'll be expected to do the same - drafting proposals, building recap decks, analyzing performance, and managing the pipeline with those tools as your first move, not your last. You'll have support from creative, lifecycle, paid media, and…
