Dream Care Learning Centre LLC in Lexington, KY is looking for a passionate and nurturing Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team! In this role, you'll have the opportunity to shape young minds during their most formative years in a warm, supportive environment. Responsibilities:- Plan and implement age-appropriate, engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment for preschool-aged children
- Monitor and document child development milestones and progress
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's growth and daily activities
- Lead and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides
- Ensure classroom compliance with state licensing regulations and health and safety guidelines
- Facilitate social-emotional learning, play-based activities, and early literacy and numeracy skills
- High School Diploma/GED
- Previous experience in a lead preschool or early childhood classroom setting
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and early childhood curriculum
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children
- Ability to pass a background check per Kentucky childcare licensing requirements
