We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead and manage Capital Expenditure (Cap Ex) projects at our client's manufacturing facility near Lexington, Kentucky. This role is ideal for a hands‑on engineer with strong technical breadth and proven experience delivering complex projects in an industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead planning, design, execution, and closeout of capital projects from concept through commissioning
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and risk to ensure successful delivery
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams including operations, maintenance, contractors, and vendors
- Provide technical oversight across multiple disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, and controls)
- Develop and review engineering designs, specifications, and construction documents
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Support equipment selection, installation, startup, and performance validation
- 5+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Demonstrated experience managing capital projects (Cap Ex)
- Strong technical background across multiple disciplines

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field required)
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills

- Working with EPC firms, contractors, and vendors
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
