Overview
My client is a quickly-growing quasi-startup company in a new space within the consumer products and chemical industry. They are looking for a technical whiz who will be able to grow into a leadership role. They use crystallization, distillation, filtration, drying and packaging equipment at this facility and are in the midst of ramping up production.
Responsibilities- Support production ramp-up and operate/assist unit operations including crystallization, de-waxing, solvent recovery, distillation/fractionation and drying.
- Learn quickly and wear several hats to contribute to cross-functional needs.
- B.S. in Chemical Engineering preferred – will consider a Mechanical Engineer or Industrial Engineer with the right background
- 1+ years of post-college manufacturing experience (chemicals, pharmaceutical or related manufacturing; cGMP experience a major plus)
- Experience with process unit operations such as crystallization, de-waxing, solvent recovery, distillation/fractionation, and drying is a plus
- The ability to learn quickly and wear several hats is a critical trait for success in this role
