Job Description/Overview
My client is a quickly-growing quasi-startup company in a new space within the consumer products and chemical industry. They are looking for a technical whiz who will be able to who has a desire to grow into a leadership role. Where their operations were formerly more chemical intensive (chemical processing), they are now more of a finished goods and packaging operation - specifically they are making liquid supplements, ingestibles, gummies, lotions/creams, etc.
The focus of this role will in equipment troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, hands-on reliability improvement and as this person learns the processes and products, they will get into things like scale-up, project execution, etc.
- B.S. in Engineering - Mechanical or Chemical Engineering is preferred
- 1+ years of post-college, manufacturing experience, out of consumer products, packaging, consumer packaging, bottling, etc.
- Should be familiar with fillers, capper, conveyors, labeling systems, and general packaging
- The ability to learn quickly and wear several hats will be critical traits for doing well in this role
