Job DescriptionThe qualified candidate will be a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer with a strong background in networking and system administration to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a CCNP certification, 10+ years of hands‑on experience, and a proven track record managing and securing enterprise network infrastructure.
Experience with Cisco Nexus / Catalyst switches, ISR / ASR / Catalyst routers, and FTD (Firepower Threat Defense) firewalls is essential. Experience with Cisco wireless controllers, WSA (Web Security Appliance), and ESA (Email Security Appliance) is beneficial.
Essential duties and responsibilities- Design, implement, manage, and optimize complex network infrastructures.
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs in a multi-site environment.
- Deploy and manage Cisco FTD for advanced threat protection and firewall policies.
- Administer Cisco WSA and ESA to ensure secure web and email communications.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
- Collaborate with security teams to maintain compliance and implement best practices.
- Maintain documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.
- Provide escalation support for system and network‑related incidents.
- Participate in on‑call rotation for critical system support.
- CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification required.
- 10+ years of professional experience in network engineering.
- Solid experience with Cisco switch and routing platforms, Firepower (FTD), Web Security Appliance (WSA), and Email Security Appliance (ESA).
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VPN, VLANs, ACLs, and NAT.
- Experience with system administration (Windows and/or Linux).
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Experience with network automation tools or scripting (Python, Ansible).
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure).
- Exposure to SIEM and endpoint protection platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
