Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control, Special Operations Forces Global Logistics Support Services (SOFGLSS) contract, located in Lexington, KY, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and complete modifications on various military vehicle and aircraft platforms in support of the warfighter. This program is critical to the success of U.S. service men and women deployed worldwide and has a mission to rapidly and properly equip the SOF community and its war fighters with the best possible systems and equipment anywhere in the world.

• Experience with 3D parametric modeling in CATIA, Solid Works or similar software.
• Experience with creation, review and approval of engineering change documentation.
• Experience creating ANSI/ASME Y14.100 compliant drawings.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Experience working in an aerospace environment.
• Experience with Catia V5, Creo, Solid Works or other 3D parametric modeling programs.

• Must be a U.S. citizen. This position requires a company-sponsored clearance to start.
• Ability to work remotely:
  Part-time Remote Telework is available. The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part at a Lockheed Martin facility. Weekly schedule to be discussed during the hiring process.
