Mechanical Engineer​/HVAC Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Design mechanical building systems, including HVAC ductwork, VRF systems, geothermal systems, steam systems, hot and chilled water systems, and plumbing systems.
• Develop construction documents and detailed Revit MEP models.
• Conduct site investigations and document existing conditions.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, owners, and other project stakeholders throughout the design and construction process.
• Develop creative and cost‑effective engineering solutions that meet project requirements and client objectives.
• Review and respond to contractor submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), and change order proposals.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Support projects from concept through construction completion.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC and mechanical systems design.
• Strong experience designing commercial, healthcare, multi‑family, and industrial MEP systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit MEP;
  AutoCAD experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.

• Full‑time, on‑site position in Lexington, Kentucky.
