Job Title and Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Civil Engineer to oversee the design and management of civil engineering projects from concept through construction. This role involves preparing and managing plans for grading, drainage, stormwater, utility, roadway, and site development, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Responsibilities- Design and manage civil engineering projects from concept through construction.
- Prepare and oversee grading, drainage, stormwater, utility, roadway, and site development plans.
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, subconsultants, and internal multidisciplinary teams.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and client expectations.
- Perform and oversee engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and permitting documents.
- Ensure quality control and compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, designers, and technical staff.
- Participate in client meetings, proposals, and relationship‑building efforts.
- Identify opportunities to expand services and support business development efforts.
- Proficiency in geotechnical engineering, site development, and Civil 3D.
- Civil Engineering degree.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects from start to finish.
The position is based in our Louisville, KY office, providing an opportunity to lead projects and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Lexington, KY. The position is fully onsite in Lexington, KY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
