Job Overview
Our client is a leading utilities company specializing in full‑service engineering and development. As the company continues to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Engineer – CCR/Landfill Project Manager to lead and oversee our projects.
Salary: $150,000 – $180,000 per year.
Responsibilities- Oversee and manage all aspects of CCR and landfill projects, including planning, design, implementation, monitoring, and completion.
- Develop and implement project plans, risk management plans, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure project progression and completion within budget and timeline.
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and prepare technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards related to CCR and landfill.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
- Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts.
- Oversee contract administration, including tendering, negotiation, and contractor selection.
- Continuously monitor and report on project status to stakeholders and senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program.
- Minimum seven (7) years of progressively responsible engineering experience, preferably in solid waste management, landfill, or CCR.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in an engineering environment.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards related to CCR and landfill.
- Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time and budget.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to a variety of audiences.
- Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) is a plus.
