We have a Production Engineer role open on 1st shift. The Production Engineer will provide engineering support for ongoing and new operations.

Essential Functions
  • Use and promote Lean Manufacturing methods
  • Design methods and machines for maintaining or increasing production levels while improving production costs, yields, quality and safety
  • Train operators in correct process, software, equipment, tooling, and/or fixture use
  • Investigate and initiate Design Engineering change requests, participate in design reviews of new products or major revisions to guide Design Engineering towards a best solution and facilitate implementation of design changes
  • Develop and update process procedures to ensure that documentation is accurate, clear, and follows Link-Belt standards
  • Troubleshoot process problems and identify solutions that reduce downtime and minimize maintenance costs
  • Assist Manufacturing in troubleshooting problems with manufactured product
  • Analyze marketing and economic conditions and relate these factors to future manufacturing requirements
  • Monitor process equipment to identify potential errors and develop solutions to eliminate the occurrence or reoccurrence of problems
  • Perform project management as assigned
  • Provide technical information for cost estimating and cost reduction
  • Perform engineering calculations to validate production related designs
General Qualifications
  • Four‑year college degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ related work experience
