Description
Description: In this role, the employee will use their knowledge of interpreting and reading engineering design drawings to develop fabrication routers and work instructions. The role also requires the employee to create bill of materials (BOMs) based on drawing parts lists and enter the data into the SOF CLSS systems of record, SAP, and Teamcenter. The employee will interpret input from program Production Engineers to provide production support during fabrication.
LocationLocation: This position is in Lexington.
Citizenship and Security ClearanceCitizenship Requirement: Must be a U.S. citizen. The position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company‑sponsored clearance to begin.
Security Clearance: This position requires a government security clearance; the applicant must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience.
- Bill of Materials (BOM) experience.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience with SAP.
- Team Center Engineering experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Production Operations experience.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma practices.
- Knowledge of SOF GLSS contract customers.
Work Remotely: Onsite full‑time. The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility. Schedules range from the standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week to condensed schedules that provide employees with additional time away from the office, in addition to paid time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Non‑standard 40‑hour work week as assigned by leader.
