UES is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Project Manager to oversee projects that help shape the communities where we live, work, and build. This role is ideal for construction materials testing professionals, field technicians, laboratory personnel, engineering graduates, or emerging project leaders looking to transition into a client-facing management position.

As a CMT Project Manager, you’ll serve as a key link between clients, contractors, field teams, and laboratory operations ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage and coordinate construction materials testing projects from initiation through completion
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal project teams
  • Schedule and coordinate field technicians, inspectors, and laboratory resources
  • Monitor project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful execution
  • Review project data, reports, and documentation for quality and accuracy
  • Support proposal development, project planning, and resource forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, client satisfaction, and project outcomes
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in construction materials testing, inspections, geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, or related construction services
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to develop client management and leadership capabilities
  • Understanding of construction practices, testing procedures, and project documentation
  • Experience with project coordination, scheduling, or team leadership is a plus

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage assigned CMT projects from proposal through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality goals are met.
  • Develop project estimates, scopes of work, and proposals in collaboration with technical and business development teams.
  • Coordinate and allocate resources, including field technicians and laboratory support, to meet project demands efficiently.
  • Communicate proactively with clients, addressing questions, resolving routine issues, and maintaining strong working relationships.
  • Monitor project financial performance, including cost control, budget tracking, revenue forecasting, and profitability analysis.
