I'm currently partnering with a leading aerospace manufacturer that supplies highly engineered components into the aerospace and gas turbine markets.
Following continued growth and investment, the business is looking to add an experienced Process Engineer to its engineering team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex manufacturing challenges, improving production processes, and making a measurable impact within a technically demanding environment.
Responsibilities- Develop and optimise manufacturing processes to improve quality, yield and efficiency
- Lead root cause investigations into process and product issues
- Analyse manufacturing data using statistical methods, DOE and Six Sigma tools to identify improvement opportunities
- Develop and maintain manufacturing process documentation and work instructions
- Support new product introduction and process development activities
- Work closely with Operations, Production, Quality and Engineering teams to implement process improvements
- Evaluate and introduce new manufacturing technologies where appropriate
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing scrap, rework and manufacturing costs
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- 5+ years of post-graduate experience in a Process, Manufacturing or Metallurgical Engineering position
- Strong experience within a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience leading process improvements and solving complex manufacturing problems
- Experience using Root Cause Analysis, DOE, Statistical Analysis and Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments

- Directionally Solidified (DS) or Single Crystal (SX) casting
- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing
- CAD experience (NX, Solid Works or similar)
