A well-established manufacturer in Central Ohio is hiring an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician for their production facility. What You'll Do

Adhere to all safety procedures including LOTO and arc flash
Maintain accuracy of electrical schematics
Design, install, and implement new control systems, and redesign equipment to eliminate recurring issues
Troubleshoot web guiding, dust collection, metal detection, elastic unwind, ultrasonic bonding, CIJ printing, machine communication networks, stretch wrapping, spooling/despooling, hotmelt adhesive, packaging equipment, and AC/DC motor systems
Troubleshoot and modify Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC programs
Troubleshoot and modify motion control programs
Troubleshoot HMIs, marquees, and vision inspection equipment hardware
Support multi-discipline manufacturing processes with machinery and equipment maintenance
Perform repairs, calibration, and preventative maintenance on electro-mechanical equipment
Perform daily electrical audits
Represent the E&I team in Safety Meetings as needed

What You Bring

Associate degree or higher, or Military Training plus manufacturing experience,
Ability to read and update building and machine control electrical schematics
Experience bending and installing conduit up to 3/4"
Background in plant electrical and mechanical systems
Experience with electro-mechanical equipment and analytical troubleshooting
Experience using oscilloscopes, chart recorders, and thermal imaging cameras
Experience with material web guides
Experience with CIJ printing systems
Experience with ultrasonic bonding technologies
Experience troubleshooting machine communication networks including Device Net, Control Net, Profibus, Ethernet, DH+, and ASI
Experience using PLC systems and software for troubleshooting, including Siemens and Allen Bradley platforms
