Game Facilitator - Full and Part Time
Activate is a state‑of‑the‑art facility offering a wide variety of gaming experiences. You and your group enter a video‑game environment and become players who actively and mentally complete challenges. We are seeking passionate, customer‑service‑savvy professionals for the Game Facilitator role.
Starting pay is $12.00 per hour. After training is complete, the hourly rate increases by $1.00 to $13.00.
Key Responsibilities- Check customers in, take payments and make reservations.
- Brief new groups prior to the start of the game.
- Monitor customers in the gaming area and provide explanations if necessary.
- Participate with customers in games to ensure an excellent experience.
- Maintain the rooms by cleaning, painting, and performing any required maintenance.
- Troubleshoot, identify, and make minor repairs in the event of a malfunction.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong communication, multi‑tasking, and time‑management skills.
- Ability to adapt calmly and efficiently to unforeseen situations.
- Energetic, friendly, and outgoing personality with the ability to command attention in a crowd.
- Customer service experience is an asset.
- Flexible and available to work evenings and weekends until 1:00 a.m.
- Technical troubleshooting and repair skills applicable to a wide variety of equipment.
