Physical Requirements: Lift, push, pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs; sit at a computer workstation for extended periods; able to walk across campus in a timely manner and endure extreme temperatures from time to time.
Shift: Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (40 hours/week); and may need to work additional hours as needed to meet departmental needs.
Job SummaryThe Customer Mobility Consultant delivers personalized commute planning and high‑touch concierge support to students, employees, UK Health Care staff, and visitors. The role triages multi‑channel inquiries (e.g., listserv/email, phone, web forms), answers common questions, and consults one‑on‑one to build custom transportation plans—integrating parking options, transit, active transportation, rideshare/carpool, and schedule constraints. The consultant owns the campus commute advisory experience end‑to‑end: staffing orientations and advising events, curating a self‑service knowledge base, identifying trends and pain points, and recommending service and policy improvements that increase utilization and satisfaction.
While the position has no supervisory responsibility, it exercises programmatic leadership across stakeholders and serves as a subject‑matter expert for the Transportation Services customer experience.
