Position DetailsStudent;
Part‑time; requires night and weekend availability; in‑person, summer availability.
The Smart Campus Production Intern will learn fundamental aspects of live and A/V production and apply them to Smart Campus Production Services through supporting various events and meetings, including live streaming Esports Competitions and supporting Zoom Calls. While individuals in this position will be expected to learn, they are encouraged to provide insight and feedback to develop Smart Campus Production Services.
Responsibilities- Troubleshooting issues and problems of technology in The Cornerstone space
- Learn basic and advanced aspects of production and apply them in real event scenarios
- Provide feedback on production SOPs
- Follow production processes to provide excellent customer service to clients
- Keep production facilities organized and orderly
- Perform esports lounge attendant operations:
- Guest Relations:
Greet and assist visitors; provide tours and front‑desk support; address questions and ensure guest safety. - Facility Maintenance:
Keep key areas clean, organized, and secure; report maintenance needs; safeguard equipment. - Program & Event Support:
Help plan, market, and run events; collaborate with leadership to enhance engagement; gather feedback. - Technical Proficiency:
Provide basic tech support for esports and Smart Campus equipment; learn streaming and production tools. - General Duties:
Ensure safety, follow cash‑handling procedures, and contribute ideas to grow a healthy community through each of our endeavors.
- Guest Relations:
Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds, stand for long periods, and walk to various locations in a timely manner, possibly outdoors and upstairs.
Shift and ScheduleVaries; 7:30 AM – 12 AM;
Sunday through Saturday; requires night and weekend availability. Must have in‑person, summer availability.
High School Diploma or GED.
Skills & Knowledge- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Comfortability with using production equipment and software.
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Detail‑oriented with a focus on supporting operational efficiency.
- Technological proficiency.
- Eagerness to learn and develop new processes.
- Production experience.
- Customer Service experience.
