Wilson Equipment Company is an independent construction equipment dealer headquartered in Lexington, KY, with four additional locations in Louisville, Elizabethtown, Corbin, and Prestonsburg. We are a CASE Construction Equipment dealer and also carry Takeuchi, LBX Link-Belt, Bomag, and additional lines. Our counter team works in Intelli Dealer and Integrated Rental.

Wilson Equipment Company is currently seeking a Parts & Service Counter Representative for our Elizabethtown location. This position reports to the Elizabethtown Branch Manager. The Parts & Service Counter Representative provides excellent customer service by assisting customers with their parts, service, and rental needs. Day to day, that means using parts catalogs and inventory systems to accurately identify and sell parts, coordinating service requests, and supporting equipment rental transactions, all while maintaining a clean and organized counter area.

They should also be a personable problem solver who is able to adapt to their environment (including customers, suppliers, coworkers, manufacturers, etc.). They should be able to complete tasks efficiently and properly.

Parts

• Fill parts orders in person, by phone, and online, using parts catalogs and Intelli Dealer to accurately identify and sell the right parts
• Provide basic technical support to customers, including parts identification and troubleshooting assistance
• Process returns and exchanges according to company policy

Service

• Write up service requests, communicate status updates to customers, and coordinate with service technicians

Rental

• Process rental agreements in Integrated Rental, track equipment availability, and assist customers with rental needs

Warehouse

• Ship and receive inventory, including parts orders, packing lists, and freight bills
• Maintain warehouse inventory, the counter area, and required documentation in a clean and organized manner

General

• Perform other duties as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification for heavier parts (training provided)
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented
• Computer proficiency

• Working knowledge in construction, heavy equipment, agriculture, and/or automotive industries
• Familiarity with online parts catalogs
• Experience with service coordination or dispatching
• Inventory management
• Customer service and/or retail sales experience
