LHH is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager to join a growing manufacturing organization in Lake County, Ohio
. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional to lead cost initiatives, partner with plant leadership, and drive financial accuracy and operational performance.

• Lead all cost accounting functions including standard costing, variance analysis, inventory valuation, and monthly close.
• Partner with operations and plant leadership to analyze production costs and identify opportunities for improved efficiency.
• Support pricing strategies and margin enhancement through cost modeling and data‑driven insights.
• Collaborate with plant controllers and cross‑functional finance teams to strengthen internal controls and drive reporting accuracy.
• Mentor and develop accounting team members while fostering continuous improvement.

• 8+ years of accounting experience required.
• Prior cost accounting or plant controller experience is essential.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate financial insights clearly across teams.
• ERP experience and advanced Excel skills preferred.
