Job SummaryThe Business Center is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Senior Finance Director. This senior financial advisor partners closely with the Dean, academic leadership, and program directors to shape financial strategy that advances institutional priorities, drives academic excellence, and supports long-term organizational success. In this high-impact role, you will make a difference by aligning resources with mission-driven goals, strengthening financial sustainability, and enabling bold, strategic decisions that move the College forward.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and execution of data-informed budgeting models across academic and administrative units.
- Direct the full budget planning, reporting, and forecasting lifecycle, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights that support executive decision‑making.
- Create and deliver updated budget‑based fiscal reports and fund‑balance reporting.
- Prepare and govern financial and operational data used for surveys, regulatory reporting, and special initiatives, including responses to open‑records requests.
- Partner closely with the Dean and senior leadership to produce data‑driven insights, dashboards, and ad‑hoc analyses that inform strategic decisions.
- Minimum 8 years of progressively responsible finance experience.
- Demonstrated strong leadership experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and financial systems such as SAP, BW, Business Objects, Tableau, CDEM, SPIN/ER.
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
- Effective communication skills and ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
