Job SummaryAs an Operations Controller, you will be responsible for accounting activities within assigned account(s) and assisting the Regional Director of Finance with all aspects of financial activity within the region.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all cash handling procedures
- Perform reconciliation and analysis for several balance sheet accounts
- Analyze financial results for internal and external use
- Track and maintain monthly profit & loss and balance sheet activity
- Develop forecasts and budgets, identifying risks and opportunities
- Review general ledger and balance sheets
- Resolve various accounting/reconciliation issues
- Complete financial reports: monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including fiscal close, internal and external audit reporting; manage report preparation and distribution
- Maintain inventory and cost control procedures
- Administer payroll and human resource duties
- Perform related duties and special projects as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of five years’ experience in revenue control, financial reporting, and cash handling
- Accounting experience in food service or retail industry required; food service operations experience a plus
- Ability to prepare monthly financial statements, key metric reports, budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections, and analyses
- Adept at planning, organizing, and controlling complex processes and analyzing moderately complex financial information
- Experience with POS, cash, and credit card reports
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Skilled at managing multiple priorities and relationships
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with a concentration in Excel
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced, dynamic work environment
