Artemis Solutions has partnered with a well-established university to identify an Accounting Manager who will play a critical role in managing treasury operations, endowment accounting, and investment activity
—some of the most strategic and high-impact areas of the business.
This is a unique opportunity to step into a role that blends hands‑on execution with strategic influence
, working closely with executive finance leadership.
- Direct exposure to treasury, investments, and financial strategy
- High visibility with senior leadership (Controller / Assistant Controller)
- Opportunity to build processes, enhance controls, and drive improvements
- Play a key role in long‑term financial sustainability and decision‑making
- Oversee daily cash activity, reconciliations, and liquidity planning
- Manage banking relationships, ACH/wires, and fraud controls
- Build cash flow forecasts and improve treasury processes
- Manage endowment accounting, unitization, and spending policies
- Reconcile investment activity and prepare stakeholder reports
- Ensure compliance with donor and regulatory requirements
- Strengthen internal controls and reconciliation processes
- Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Improve accuracy and transparency in financial reporting
- Develop financial models and scenario planning tools
- Identify risks, trends, and opportunities
- Provide recommendations to leadership
- Enhance financial systems and reporting capabilities
- Improve workflows and operational efficiency
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong experience with treasury, investments, or cash management
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with financial systems and banking platforms
- Higher education or nonprofit experience
- Exposure to systems like Colleague, Tableau, or similar tools
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset
- High attention to detail with sound judgment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder presence
- High level of integrity and ownership
Salary: $75,000–$90,000 (based on experience)
PTO- Paid holidays, including Winter Break
