Credit Analyst I (Exempt), Credit AnalysisJOB SUMMARYResponsible for accurately analyzing personal and business financial information and underwriting new and existing loans and relationships according to the bank’s guidelines and policies.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a business field with a minimum of twelve hours coursework in accounting (three+ years’ work experience as a commercial banker or commercial credit analyst preferred); or another bachelor’s degree with work experience in commercial banking or commercial credit analysis (five+ years preferred).
- Education or work experience in interpreting financial statements and using projections to ascertain financial trends.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to conduct research and write the substance of an analysis in narrative form.
- Ability to participate in customer meetings with or without a lender and communicate effectively with business owners to extract useful information in a professional manner.
