The physical requirements for this position include regularly sitting, standing, walking, with some pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects weighing up to 10lbs and occasional pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects up to 50lbs.

Job SummaryThe Pediatric Gastroenterology Division seeks a Registered Dietitian to provide patient care for GI disease management. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, patient education and assisting providers in developing nutrition management plans, clinical evaluation, or interventions. The person in this position must be adept at working with a multidisciplinary team and have strong interpersonal communication skills.
A successful applicant can work within a large team of providers, including a pediatric gastroenterologist, obesity specialist, registered NURSE, and a clinic coordinator. The position requires the applicant to be able to complete a complete Pediatric Nutrition assessment, behavior modification, tube feeding assessment, and monitoring. It may work with patients who are malnourished or have IBD, IBS, and general disorders in the area of gastroenterology and hepatitis.
A successful candidate will be a good educator and able to work with families on many different diets, including, but not limited to, weight loss, hepatic preservation, limited carbohydrate diets, various diets for Allergy, EoE, IBD, and others. The successful applicant will be ambitious, goal-oriented, innovative, and studious, eager to support our dynamic and rapidly growing GI/NAFLD/BMI program.
