This position requires sitting, standing and/or walking for extended periods of time. Lifting, pushing and/or pulling objects up to 50 lbs may be required. - Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
The Clinic Supervisor provides clinical leadership and operational oversight for Richmond outpatient rehabilitation clinic. This role balances high-level orthopedic patient care with staff supervision, clinical quality, and day-to-day clinic performance. Leadership Responsibilities to include: providing day-to-day supervision of clinical staff and support personnel; mentoring clinicians to ensure consistent, evidence-based orthopedic care; leading hiring, onboarding, performance feedback, and professional development; maintaining clinical quality, efficiency, and patient satisfaction standards.
Skills/ Knowledge / Abilities
The ideal candidate will have clinical experience, sound judgment, professionalism as it relates to interpersonal and general communication skills, attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesDoes this position have supervisory responsibilities? Yes
Preferred Education/Experience- Minimum 5 years of outpatient orthopedic physical therapy experience
- Demonstrated expertise in:
- Post-operative orthopedic rehabilitation (ACLR, shoulder, knee, spine)
- Non-operative musculoskeletal care
- Progressive loading and return-to-function principles
- Prior experience in a lead or supervisory role (Clinic Lead, Senior PT, Assistant Manager or manager)
- Proven ability to manage an orthopedic caseload while supporting clinic operations
- Orthopedic specialization or advanced training (OCS) is a plus
- Experience mentoring clinicians and supervising students
- Strong collaboration history with orthopedic surgeons and sports medicine providers
- Exposure to clinic operations, productivity standards, and documentation compliance
