• As a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist, you will:
  • Communicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty, determining the need for continued therapy services.
  • Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices.
  • Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability.
  • Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in specific aspects of therapeutic exercises to support continued progress outside of direct therapy sessions.
  • Document appropriate progress and clinical notes noting the patient s response to therapy and submit visit documentation per Agency policy.

• Minimum of Master s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• A minimum of one (1) year of work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Current, unrestricted license as a Speech Language Pathologist by the state in which practicing.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification in accordance with state regulations.
