Job Summary
This position provides pharmaceutical care to patients admitted to the University of Kentucky Healthcare Albert
B. Chandler Medical Center. Responsibilities include reviewing and perfecting medication orders, reviewing drug profiles, and contacting physicians to optimize medication therapy.
Daily activities may include participation in patient care rounds, review of patient profiles, and pharmacokinetic evaluation of therapeutic regimens.
Requirements- B.S. Pharmacy or PharmD
- Licensed pharmacist or license eligible in Kentucky
- Strong clinical skills and ability to prioritize
May require standing or sitting for greater than 5 hours at a time. Shift varies.
