Phoenix Rising Behavioral Healthcare and Recovery, Inc. Is a private non-profit behavioral healthcare agency, accredited by Joint Commission and certified through the Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Service Board. Created in 2005, Phoenix Rising BHR provides outpatient psychiatric, counseling, and case management services to children, adolescents, and adults. Phoenix Rising BHR advocates for an environment that acknowledges and respects diversity.
Position SummaryCPST Case Managers provide an array of services in the community to clients with severe and persistent mental illness. It is necessary to be mobile, work with multidisciplinary teams to assist the client in meeting their recovery goals as outlined in treatment planning. CPST’s assess client’s needs and aid in linking to community-based resources. That may include areas of food, shelter, employment and various other community resources.
Services may be face-to-face or by telephone. Services may be provided individually or in groups. Services are not site specific but must be in locations that meet the needs of the people served.

Qualifications– Applicants must meet the following criteria
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Service field or equivalent years of experience and education
- Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and meet auto insurance coverage requirements
- Safe, maintained vehicle
- Ability to deal with conflict and to cope with potentially difficult and hostile clients
- Basic understanding of mental health / mental illness concepts and symptoms
