Job Summary:

DUCG is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant with an MA diploma or 1 year of on-the-job experience. Preferably, our next team member will be familiar with blood draws, administering injections, and verifying insurance.

We have 2 different scheduling models for our clinical staff to choose from, with at least 1 on-call shift each week (comes with $50 on-call shift bonus!)

Responsibilities:
  • Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care, including taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering medications.
  • Prepare examination rooms and equipment for patient visits.
  • Assist with patient procedures.
  • Provide warm and inviting customer service to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and ensuring their comfort.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls and handling patient registration.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant training program, OR 1 year of on-the-job training as a Medical Assistant.
  • New grads from MA training are encouraged to apply!
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Pay:

$17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours:

32 – 40 per week
