American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) credentials, BLS certification, and Siemens MR experience for a weekend assignment in Lexington, Kentucky.

- MRI technician role in a hospital radiology department
- Weekend shifts from Friday to Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (3×12 hours, days)
- May float to another campus within the hospital system
- Handles MRI cases including anesthesia and pediatric patients
- Experience with Siemens MR equipment is required
- Work in a Level 1 Trauma Center and academic teaching environment is preferred
- Epic and PACS EMR experience is preferred
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of application
- Permanent staff must wait six months before returning as a traveler
- Local candidates residing within 100 miles are not eligible for this position
- Role involves reviewing implants for MRI compatibility and adhering to department safety protocols
- BLS certification is required
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) certifications are required
- Minimum 2 years of recent MRI experience preferred
- Experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center or teaching facility preferred
- Must possess strong MRI safety knowledge, including implant research and adherence to scanning guidelines
- Experience with Siemens MR scanners required
- Experience with anesthesia and pediatric MRI cases required
- Epic and PACS experience preferred
- License required if applicable
- No professional license sanctions or "license hits" accepted
- Two supervisory references from the last three years are required
