Job Summary And Responsibilities
As our Sonographer, you will utilize advanced sonographic equipment to record detailed images of blood, organs, tissues, and bodily masses, including unborn fetuses, providing critical visual data for diagnosis and prenatal care. Every day you will directly interact with patients, explaining procedures, answering questions, and preparing them for scans. You will meticulously operate sonographic equipment, adjusting settings and patient positions to ensure clear, diagnostic images.
You will monitor and care for patients to ensure their safety and comfort, select and examine images for pathologies, and present preliminary findings to physicians. To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent patient service and communication skills, sharp eyesight, and meticulous attention to detail. You will demonstrate strong technical proficiency, sound judgment, and advanced decision‑making skills to effectively capture and interpret sonographic data, ensuring optimal diagnostic support.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
- Performs procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist’s expectations and protocols.
- Displays knowledge and complies with the National Patient Safety goals.
- Supports and reports any identified compliance matters.
- Participates in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.
- Maintains professional development and education for technical competency.
Sign‑on Bonuses up to $25,000 and Education Assistance (student loan payoff) up to $24,000 for eligible hires and positions.
Job Requirements- Graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology upon hire
- Graduate of an AMA accredited sonography program upon hire
- Graduate of an accredited school of diagnostic medical sonography and equivalent clinical experience upon hire
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer within 12 months
- Registered Cardiac Electr within 12 months
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist within 12 months
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Abdomen within 12 months
- Registered Technologist Computed Tomography within 12 months
- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT within 12 months
- Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography within 12 months
- Registered Vascular Specialist within 12 months
Registered Cardiac Sonographer CCI within 12 months - Registered Vascular Technologist within 12 months
- Basic Life Support – CPR upon hire

Range
$31.53 – $46.90 /hour
