Description We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team in Lexington, Kentucky. In this role, you will manage payroll operations with precision and ensure compliance across multi-state payroll processes. This is a Contract position with the potential for long-term employment and offers the opportunity to grow and transition into a hybrid schedule after the initial training period.

Responsibilities:

- Process full-cycle payroll for a workforce of over 500 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

- Handle multi-state payroll operations, adhering to state-specific regulations and compliance requirements.

- Utilize ADP Workforce Now for efficient payroll management and reporting.

- Perform audits of employee hours and payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies.

- Upload and manage timesheets while maintaining organized records.

- Apply advanced Excel skills, including V-lookups and data analysis, to support payroll operations.

- Collaborate with team members to streamline manual processes and improve efficiency.

- Provide support and training during the initial in-office period and transition to hybrid scheduling.

- Ensure all payroll-related documentation complies with company policies and industry standards. Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of experience in payroll operations.

- Expertise in full-cycle payroll processing for large employee groups.

- Familiarity with multi-state payroll regulations and practices.

- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems.

- Advanced Excel skills, including V-lookups and data manipulation.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to foster a collaborative work environment.

- Ability to adapt to both manual processes and future system upgrades.
