AboutThe Role
As an IT Support Engineer I, you will use your knowledge and specialized skills to implement technical solutions and provide high‑quality support for computer hardware, operating systems, or enterprise application software across sites in a defined geographical area. You determine when to deviate from standard practice to achieve the desired result and troubleshoot straightforward problems without defined SOPs.
Key Job Responsibilities- Network engineering and troubleshooting, data cabling and systems administration in a variety of software and hardware environments.
- Ensuring infrastructure networking and computing systems remain available during production hours.
- Interacting with management and staff to provide analytical and technical assistance for continuous improvement of IT solutions.
- Managing local technical projects.
- Maintaining or creating policies, procedures, and processes.
- Identifying root causes of operational issues and process inefficiencies.
- Moving up to 49 lbs, standing and walking during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
- Supporting customers from multiple buildings in the area, as well as remote customers.
- Traveling within your local or regional area to support our customers.
- High school or equivalent diploma.
- 2+ years of professional or military experience.
- 2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi‑user high‑availability environment.
- 2+ years of networking experience (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, TCP/IP).
- 2+ years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation experience.
- 1+ year of IT client, server, and network service delivery experience.
- Fluent in Cisco/networking and either Linux and/or Microsoft.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science or equivalent.
- CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware, AWS, or other relevant certifications.
- Data center infrastructure and facilities experience.
- Ability to explain complex IT concepts in simple terms.
- Ability to manage high‑priority projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work successfully with limited supervision.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. Base pay ranges from $47,700/year in our lowest market to $103,000/year in our highest market.
