Our client is currently seeking a qualified Field Technician to join their team in the Madison, WI area and provide end-user support. This Technician will serve as the primary onsite contact for technical and service-related issues. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, installing, and repairing laser printers, wide-format printers, kiosks, POS systems, and related hardware / software. Collaboration with Level II or Lead Technicians may be required to ensure timely and accurate resolutions.
Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve issues with printers, kiosks, and POS systems
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software
- Perform routine maintenance to optimize equipment performance
- Deliver clear technical assistance to customers onsite and over the phone
- Maintain accurate service records and uphold quality standards
- Strong knowledge of printers, computer hardware, and software
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in a team
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
The rate for this position is between $15.75 - $23.10 per hour
. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
