IT Field Technician
Responsibilities:
IT field technician - driving to client sites and providing general IT support to customers (retailers, banks, etc.), for break‑fix and IMAC calls, and supporting clients. The level of support will vary by customer, but expect printer, laptop, server, network, and other IT devices. TOP 2? HW repair hands‑on (printers, PCs, POS, etc.) break‑fix, use of power tools (e.g. drills) and familiar with the ticketing system.
Fast‑paced environment, need problem‑solving skills and be able to maintain composure under pressure.
Key skill is Printer Breakfix
Schedule - Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with a 1‑hour lunch break. However, work may occasionally follow the project schedule, which could include overtime or after‑hours as needed. OC (on call)? Yes, after completing all required Certs and training.
Years of experience - preferred 2‑5 but we will train.
Certifications or education? A+ certification is good to have but not necessary, Lexmark certifications and experience are preferred but not necessary. Experience with Lexmark printer break‑fix and equipment installs a plus, Client Dell Lenovo also desired but not necessary.
What radius range should candidates be located from the job location? 50 miles a day to 150 miles a day.
