Solution Architect (CLM)
We are looking for a Solution Architect, CLM to support our continued growth. The Solution Architect owns the overall design of our contract lifecycle management and revenue technical solutions, and recommends best practice solutions based on client needs. They provide technical guidance for the development of Conga CLM, Docu Sign CLM, Salesforce Contracts, and integrated Salesforce Revenue Cloud applications to support cross‑functional legal, procurement, and sales strategies.
A Solution Architect facilitates discovery sessions to understand complex legal and sales workflows, translating those challenges into robust technical requirements supported by a documented solution design. They provide thoughtful leadership and communication to project and client team members to build the foundation as a trusted partner.
Role Responsibilities- Enterprise CLM Architecture: Design end‑to‑end solutions that leverage Conga CLM, Docu Sign CLM, and Salesforce Contracts, ensuring seamless integration between legal workflows and sales revenue processes.
- Technical Documentation: Deliver technical and non‑technical documentation for assigned projects, including architecture diagrams (data models, template generation logic, approval workflows, and integration architecture).
- Solution Oversight: Overall solution design, build task development, estimating effort, and oversight of reporting/dashboard creation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- App Exchange & Customization Strategy: Navigate the difference between declarative and programmatic development, determining when to leverage native Salesforce Contract capabilities versus partner applications (Conga, Docu Sign) to meet specific legal and business compliance requirements.
- Hands‑on Configuration: Perform advanced CLM administration, template provisioning (clause libraries, dynamic tables), workflow automation, and data migration duties.
- Pre‑Sales Support: Act as a solution SME, working with delivery leadership and account executives to scope complex CLM sales proposals.
- Team
Collaboration:
Partner with project managers to encourage a collaborative environment with delivery and customer project teams, bridging the gap between legal, IT, and sales stakeholders. - Mentorship & Growth: Seek opportunities to develop professional and technical skills, while providing guidance and support to team members.
- Certifications: Achieve and maintain necessary Salesforce technical certifications and core CLM partner certifications.
- Legal & Contractual Acumen: Applied understanding of contract management from a legal perspective, familiarity with corporate legal operations, contract structures (MSAs, NDAs, SOWs), clause inheritance, redlining practices, and digital signature compliance.
- CLM Platform Expertise: 2+ years of hands‑on architecture and implementation experience with Conga CLM, Docu Sign CLM, and/or Salesforce Contracts.
- Salesforce Analysis: 4–6 years of advanced skills in Salesforce Platform Business Analysis and exposure to project scoping.
- Core Competencies: Strong competencies around the core platform, specifically Sales Cloud and its interaction with contract objects.
- Required
Certifications:
Active Salesforce Administrator certification and at least one core CLM partner credential (e.g., Conga Certified CLM Architect or Docu Sign CLM Consultant). Minimum 4× Salesforce certified preferred. - Technical Design: Ability to create entity‑relationship and object‑relationship diagrams demonstrating complex contract data models and clause‑to‑template relationships.
- SDLC Knowledge: Previous experience with SDLC, Agile, or hybrid methodologies preferred.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven client‑facing experience and ability to manage multiple distinct stakeholders (bridging corporate legal teams and sales operations).
- Must have full‑time permanent US work authorization.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Information Systems, Business Administration, or a Pre‑Law/Legal Studies background are a plus).
- Travel as required by client or project milestones.
- Basic knowledge of common enterprise ERP or procurement systems…
