Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive O&M Administrator to support our Operations & Maintenance team. This role is critical in ensuring efficient system performance, excellent customer service, and timely issue resolution. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing helpdesk requests, coordinating RMAs, monitoring system performance, and engaging with customers to drive additional service opportunities. This role is in office at Lexington KY.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the first point of contact for O&M Helpdesk calls and inquiries
- Monitor solar system performance and respond to alerts in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot issues and elevate to field teams or technicians as needed
- Coordinate and manage RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) processes with vendors and customers
- Maintain accurate records of service tickets, system issues, and resolutions
- Proactively reach out to customers experiencing system alerts to offer O&M services and support
- Assist in generating O&M sales opportunities and converting service needs into revenue
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery
- Support reporting and documentation for system performance and maintenance activities
- 2+ years of administrative, customer service, or operations experience (solar or construction industry preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (phone, email, and customer-facing)
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or CRM systems
- Experience with monitoring platforms or ticketing systems is a plus
- Prior experience in solar O&M or renewable energy industry
- Familiarity with inverter monitoring platforms and diagnostics
- Experience handling RMAs or vendor coordination
- Customer-focused mindset
