We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide on-site technical support in a secure, regulated environment. This individual will serve as the primary technical support resource for one location while providing backup support to nearby sites as needed.
The role is responsible for supporting end users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, deploying and maintaining devices, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Additional opportunities may include assisting with infrastructure and security-related technology support.
Key Responsibilities
+ Provide desktop and end-user technical support in a Windows-based environment.
+ Install, configure, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
+ Support software installations, upgrades, deployments, and application-related issues.
+ Respond to and resolve service requests and technical incidents in a timely manner.
+ Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, printing, and device-related issues.
+ Maintain and support workstations and other end-user technology assets.
+ Document support activities and update incident/request records as required.
+ Collaborate with technical teams to resolve escalated issues.
+ Assist with infrastructure components, communications equipment, and other technology systems when needed.
+ Travel between supported locations as necessary to provide backup coverage and technical assistance.
Required Qualifications
+ 1-2+ years of experience in Desktop Support, Help Desk, Technical Support, or a related IT support role.
+ Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing devices in a Windows environment.
+ Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
+ Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
+ Strong attention to detail and willingness to seek guidance when needed.
+ Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
+ Experience supporting enterprise end-user computing environments.
+
Experience with device deployment, software installation, and hardware maintenance.
+ Familiarity with ticket tracking and service management processes.
+ Experience supporting printers, mobile devices, and remote users.
+ Exposure to networking, infrastructure, or security-related technologies is a plus.
Physical Requirements
+ Must possess a valid driver's license.
+ Ability to lift and move IT equipment and work in varying physical positions for extended periods.
+ Ability to travel between local sites as needed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
