We are seeking a VDI Administrator to support the day-to-day operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and sustainment of an enterprise Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment utilizing VMware ESXi/vSphere, Omnissa Horizon, 10

ZiG thin/zero clients, Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365. This position is ideal for an IT professional looking to develop hands‑on experience supporting enterprise virtualization and cloud‑based desktop environments.

• 1+ years of experience in IT systems administration, desktop support, virtualization, or infrastructure operations
• CompTIA Security+ certification
• Top Secret Security Clearance
• Basic working knowledge of VMware vSphere/ESXi and virtual machines
• Experience administering or troubleshooting Windows 10/11 and Windows Server
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
• Experience troubleshooting desktop, network, application, and user-access issues

• Basic understanding of virtual networking, VLANs, firewalls, and load balancing
• Experience with Power Shell scripting or automation
• Exposure to VMware vCenter, Horizon Connection Servers, UAG, App Volumes, or Dynamic Environment Manager
• Familiarity with enterprise monitoring, ticketing, patching, backup, and configuration-management processes VMware, Microsoft, Azure, CompTIA, or similar industry certifications

• Monitor and maintain VDI infrastructure, desktop pools, virtual machines, and endpoint devices
• Troubleshoot user connectivity, login, desktop, application, and peripheral issues
• Perform routine VM, Horizon, Windows, and endpoint administration
• Assist with desktop image updates, software deployments, patches, and configuration changes

The ideal candidate is a hands-on IT professional with a strong troubleshooting mindset who wants to build a career in enterprise VDI and cloud infrastructure. Experience with Horizon is beneficial but not necessarily required if the candidate has solid Windows, VMware, networking, or systems‑administration fundamentals and demonstrates the ability and desire to learn.
