What you’ll need:

- DoD Baseline Certification (Mandatory):

Experience:
- Familiarity with GCSS-A and other military inventory control software.
- Use of accounting systems for IT hardware and software assets, including inventory control.
- Knowledge of coordinating IT life cycle replacement operations.
- Experience maintaining inventories, tracking, and reporting equipment warranty status.
- History of issuing, revoking, and reporting status and availability of software licenses.
- DoD property book management and DA Form 3161 (Hand Receipt) processing.
- SharePoint-based asset tracking portals and Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS).
- Army IT acquisition processes and configuration management database (CMDB) operations.
- CPSM certification, Certified Proffesional in Supply Management
- APSM Associate Professional in Supply Management
Peraton is hiring an onsite resource for a IT Asset Manager in Poznan, Poland. Under immediate supervision, responsible for managing DoD property, book requirements directly supporting enterprise IT infrastructure and infostructure initiatives. Performing IT asset management and accountability functions including inventory control, life cycle replacement coordination, warranty tracking, and software license management using Global Combat Support System (GCSS-A) and other inventory control systems.
What you’ll do:- Manage DoD property book requirements supporting enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Develop, review, and maintain IT asset management procedures and system requirements.
- Account for IT hardware and software assets, including inventory control, tracking, and reporting.
- Coordinate IT asset life cycle replacement activities, ensuring timely refresh and disposal.
- Track equipment warranties and manage software license issuance, and compliance reporting.
- Train staff and customers on IT asset management procedures and supporting applications.
- Conduct internal audits on IT property accountability and asset management.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans to address audit findings and process gaps.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, compliance, and service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with DoD policies, contractual requirements, and IT asset management.
- Provide weekly and monthly status reports documenting work performed.
- Ensures that inventories are secure, properly identified and readily accessible to authorized personnel. Maintains control over numerous types of inventories.
- Conducts physical inventory counts and reconciliates results with records on hand.
- Ensures quantities of both incoming and outgoing shipments are accurate with reports and conducts analyses of inventory levels and coordinates with appropriate departments to ensure appropriate levels are on hand.
