Role OverviewAs a product manager on the Small Business Insurance team, you’ll lead the profit and growth for a growing small business insurance product portfolio. As we continue to enter new states with new products, you’ll have an opportunity to develop and implement strategies for profitable growth and expansion. You’ll join a team passionate about products, underwriting, and systems. You'll partner with functions across the business to get results and competitive advantage as we continue to expand our commercial lines portfolio.
You’ll accomplish these outcomes through pricing and product decision‑making, negotiation with state regulators, segment and competitive analysis, and through interactions and consultations with sales, claims, and agents.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in economics, finance, math/actuarial science or related field of study (e.g. statistics) or a Bachelor's degree and experience analyzing and interpreting quantitative data to draw conclusions and make recommendations based on that data
- Minimum of six years analytical work in a professional setting or property casualty insurance experience or related experience
- At least three years of small business insurance product management experience, including Business Owner’s Policy (BOP)/General Liability (GL) product management
- Superior problem‑solving, quantitative, and analytical skills with proven ability to make data‑driven decisions and ability to develop strategies to grow and defend our market position
- Proven ability to drive influence with strong relationship‑building and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to successfully manage results in the presence of uncertainty and volatility
- Base: $129,200 - $184,500/year
- Gainshare bonus up to 50% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
- Participation in our restricted stock units plan
