• Evaluate opportunities to optimize material acquisitions and reduce costs
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers, ensuring quality and schedule adherence
• Review proposals, select suppliers, follow up on orders, and verify deliveries
• Prepare RFPs and bid packages as needed
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, approvals, and payments

Required

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in data entry and Excel worksheet creation/use
• Active Secret Clearance
• Strong analytical and negotiation abilities
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

Preferred

Skills:

• Experience with RFP preparation
• Familiarity with supplier evaluation and performance monitoring
• Understanding of price trend analysis
