Location: Lexington, KY
Salary: $12.50 / hour
Type: Student, Part‑Time
Job Summary: The Support Assistant will help maintain a clean and functional facility at the Johnson Center and Alumni Gym. The role includes thorough cleaning and disinfecting of equipment and spaces, and may also assist professional staff with repairs and routine maintenance. The position is eligible for Federal work‑study if the applicant qualifies and is hired on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining a clean and working facility at the Johnson Center and Alumni Gym.
- Perform thorough cleaning and disinfecting of equipment and spaces.
- Assist professional staff in completing repairs and routine maintenance.
Shift: 2‑3 hour shifts, during operation hours (Mon–Fri 5:30 a.m.–12:00 a.m., Sat 8:30 a.m.–9:00 p.m., Sun 10:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.)
Physical Requirements: May require lifting or pushing objects up to 50 lbs, or extended walking or standing.
Qualifications:
- None required education or experience.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities: Initiative, attention to detail.
