Job OverviewBright Minds is searching for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the execution of sold Physical Security Installation and Servicing projects. The role coordinates personnel, schedules, documentation, and financial controls to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and at targeted profitability. The Project Manager acts as the operational liaison between clients, technicians, subcontractors, and internal teams in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment in Lexington, KY.
Responsibilities- Lead projects from kickoff through closeout, ensuring schedules, quality standards, and financial targets are met.
- Track project performance through WIP reporting, labor costing, and job audits.
- Coordinate technicians and subcontractors in alignment with customer construction timelines.
- Manage drawings, permits, documentation, and construction coordination with other trades.
- Ensure timely invoicing and accurate processing of change orders.
- Conduct on‑site reviews to develop punch lists, resolve quality issues, and confirm scope completion.
- Enforce safety protocols, proactively address jobsite risks, halt work when safety standards are not met, and provide input on technician performance and project execution.
- 5+ years of professional experience in project management, construction, or electronic security systems.
- 3+ years experience as a PM for Security Integration including projects for access control, CCTV, intrusion, and fire alarm systems.
- Ability to read and coordinate drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- BIM knowledge preferred.
- Working understanding of IP networks and system integration fundamentals.
- Familiarity with state and local building codes, permitting, and inspection processes.
- Experience with construction billing methods including AIA, prevailing wage, and certified payroll.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and project or inspection management software.
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills with the ability to work independently.
