Position SummaryThe Warehouse Manager will oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. This role is responsible for receiving, staging, loading, and delivering material, while maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring that materials are ready for field crews each day. The Warehouse Manager will play a critical role in supporting operational efficiency and ensuring projects run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, staging, and distribution of materials.
- Ensure accurate and timely receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming shipments.
- Maintain and monitor inventory levels, conducting regular cycle counts and audits to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate material staging and loading to support project schedules and next-day job readiness.
- Develop and enforce warehouse organization systems, ensuring material is stored safely and accessibly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant warehouse environment in accordance with OSHA and company safety policies.
- Collaborate with project managers, service managers, and field supervisors to align material availability with project timelines.
- Oversee and maintain warehouse and field equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
- Ability to work an early morning schedule and maintain flexibility to meet project and delivery needs.
- Warehouse or logistics management experience preferred.
- Construction, overhead doors, or building materials industry is preferred.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to operate forklifts and drive a pull behind trailer.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
